Beautiful conference site - Just attended a state conference at this state park. Absolutely beautiful scenery and trails, very nice updated lodge rooms and cottages with spectacular views, and a convenient conference facility. So peaceful. The food was great and the staff all made us feel very welcome and met all our needs. Hope we have the conference there again soon

It would have been nice if you had told us we could have looked into something else. Our three grandkids were very disappointed.
I drove the original Gap - I drove the original gap 25E it was a two lane road of switchbacks sheer drop offs and when you finally got to the top you looked down into TN, I hated when I found out that this daring road was no more, so many times as a child I rode it with my Father driving and then when I was 18 I drove it and many times after, you hate to see how it has changed.
- We arrived shortly before closing and we were greeted kindly by the staff. The monument is under renovation so no trip to the top. A nice small gift shop. Would like to go again and enjoy all the resources available. Worth your time to visit.
Beautiful - We grew up vacationing on Lake Malone. My grandparents, Jim and Lena Miller built the first house on the lake. We have great memories of fishing, boating. And swimming!
