Awesome cabins, lake, and scenery. My family spends a week there every July and keeps getting better. Plenty of things to do and attractions near by. Check out Splash Down Country Waterpark in nearby Wellston. The kids will love it as they love Lake Hope!

May 27 Bad memory by Ryan

Our first time we were across from a couple older drunks who blared music from their car (no tent or anything) while sitting around a fire. The husband & wife were screaming and fighting, collecting/stealing firewood from other campsites, threatening people, and keeping us (myself, wife, and baby) and other campers awake until 2am until we finally had to call the sheriff from 2 counties over to arrest them. No security or campground personnel were around at all! Once they were gone, the rest of the trip was good, but it still remains a bad memory. Many/most campsites are unlevel. Great hiking, great mtn. biking, nice swimming beach. Boat/canoe rentals are ridiculously expensive.
