March 7 Family Memories ! by N.Freyer

Our family has been going to Harrison Lake for over thirty eight years. We have taught our kids to how ride there bikes, and many camping skills. As they are now grown Adults they are making there own family memories at Harrison Lake I rate this campground as one of best to make family memories! HAPPY CAMPING

May 17 DRAINED

They are putting in a new boat ramp. Not sure on the impact on the fish called and asked if they would restock and they said the water level would effect the fish. Hard too believe! but otherwise a nice park for the family

I drove to harrison lake because I saw on the website you can catch good crappie!!!! When i got there it was like the lake was drained!!!!!Dont see why dnr or harrison lake web site did not mention this BIG WASTE OF MY TIME>>>

August 26 Outstanding Campground by TLFairlamb

This is a wonderful campground/park. Everything is clean and neat. In my opinion, if you really like peace and quiet, the South side is the place to stay (fewer campsites and less noise). The host on the south side, Ken, is extremely friendly and helpful. Lots of shade trees and clean restrooms/showers. Good fishing and a store nearby for forgotten items and bait. I would recommend this park to anyone!

* YURT : Everything was really clean. We got our own pavilion like (covered) picnic table area (w/ wood floor) and a full size propane grill w/propane provided. Nobody was expecting that, so it was a nice surprise. * BATHROOMS : The bathrooms and shower areas were very well kept but are closed for cleaning from 10AM-Noon, which is not the most convenient time they could have picked. * GROUNDS : I have visited lots of state campgrounds in OH and MI and this one was by far the cleanest that I?ve ever been to. The campsites were very spacious w/lots of trees. * BEACH : There were lots of nice, shady, grassy spots nearby the beach w/ in ground grills and picnic tables.There is a basketball and sand volleyball court near the beach. Both of which looked very nice. All in all, everyone had a fantastic weekend and we would be happy to return to this park maybe in the fall sometime when the beach isn?t so needed/desired.

June 22 Best Park in Ohio! by Cierra

Harrison lake is the best place to camp, swim, or just go for a hike. It is a nice quiet are for any size of family to camp. There is a little store about a mile and half from the main campsites which is convienient for any forgotten supplies. The main office now this year has a lot of new things such as food, souvenirs, and coffee for people who must have that. In my opinion Harrison Lake State Park is my favorite place to be!
